Farhad... I'm amused by you... And not in a good way either. Just because someone doesn't like one of those 3 bands, doesn't mean they are a moron. In my opinion, which means nothing more than anyone elses, you are a moron for calling people morons for not liking those bands. Sure they are influential, there's no denying that. I don't listen to music because it's influential, I listen to music because it sounds good. And, while Queen and Nirvana may have been 'very influential', Queen sounds like ass and Nirvana had about 1.5 good songs.
... Oh, and I don't like Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit either, so don't even try to start tossing that on me. |

afostratrock... The song never says he is thinking about divorcing her, it's just saying that he has that option if it ever comes to it. I think the last few lines are pointing out that while they care for each other, that Love is a "forever" thing, and they don't really love each other.
In society anymore, the term love has lost a lot of it's sacredness. Husbands (and wives) that cheat on their spouse or beat them will still come home and tell them they love them. Maybe we need a modern and a non-modern definition for "love" in the dictionaries now days..... *Ponders* |

The only stupid thing is people that base a judgement on people because of some innocent past times. Anyone here that said that people are stupid because they do drugs is just as stupid, if not stupider. I agree that drugs are by no means smart, but a lot of people don't realize that drugs are the basis for a lot the things that make the world what it is today. A lot of great people use drugs, not to mention the amount of people influenced positively by them. Many former artists, classical musicians, architects, etc. would not have made some of their most wonderful creations if it weren't for drugs. How do we know that the creators of the United States Constitution didn't concieve the idea under the use of drugs? Unlikely, Maybe. Impossible, Definitely Not.
Heck, this is a music site, let's put it this way. How many of the current artists/bands you like were influenced by an artist that used drugs (Bob Marley,Pink Floyd, the list never ends)? Most of those artists music was created due to a drug influence/habit. If it weren't for drugs, maybe your favorite artist would have been influenced differently, and would play a style of music you hate. Maybe there would be certain genres of music that would be non-existant. Think about that for a little bit.
Now, about this song.. I believe it is in fact about drugs. There's no doubt that it is more appealing while under the influence, and there are a lot of things that could be related to drugs in the song. Most songs can be interpreted hundreds of different ways. Everyone's interpretation is right. |

Switching labels is not selling out, first of all. Don't you think the band should be on a label that treats them better and gives them more of what they want? The label controls everything about the band almost... What songs they release, who they can and can't tour with..and much more. If the new label is better for them, then good. Anyways....off of that topic...
I jsut saw Hatebreed live for the 2nd time this year yesterday in a little town called Huntington, West Virginia, they were alongside Clutch, Noise Therapy, Flaw, 3rd Strike, and The Color Red. It was a great show, and the pits were mad. Some guy came out of the pit with a bootprint on his forehead, very interesting.
On another note, I've never listened to Converge and have no idea what they sound like or anything, but one thing that i love about Hatebreed is that they spread good messages... Make something of yourself and don't waste your life...stuff that not a lot of bands speak about anymore.. If you say Converge is good though, I'll check them out. |

This song is badass. I think sadpunkergirl has some problem understanding that this show is for FUN. Oh, and btw, I've heard stuff by the ataris and NFG, even saw NFG at warped tour this summer. Their lyrics are all about breaking up, sadness, blah blah... If you relate to their songs then you need to go get on some anti-depressants.
I like rap, i like metal, i like punk, hell i even like some of that pop-punk bullshit that is running rampant now days, but i like it mostly for the lyrics themselves, not what they mean to me, which is usually nothing, except for the case of anti-flag, atom and his package, and a few other bands that sing about anti-hate, anti-racism, anti-war, etc.
Anyway, enough of my rambling... This song is bad as fuck, fun to sing along to, and fun to cruise to... I'd rather be listening to rappers talk about bling bling and fuckin hoes than the ataris and nfg crying about losing their girlfriends and being losers. |

On another note.... I don't think anyone should let weed run their life, but i'm all for getting high occasionally when there is nothing to do.... If your gonna just sit around and watch TV, you might as well do it while your high..it makes it so much better. :) |

i heard this song on MTV....hoping that it may have actually been something decent, i stopped and listened for a few seconds.. After doing so the first thought that came to my mind was "Oh ya, another piece of shit MTV band with no talent"... I'm not at all impressed.
And btw, leave Staind, Hoobastank, and Puddle Of Mudd on the shit list. Decent beat and whiny, pussified lyrics are mainstream..what a sad world.. Some of the songs by some of these people actually sound halfway decent until the singing starts... Then it usually sounds like he's butt-fucking a cat (in the case of Staind) or just doing some general, pansy whining.
