You are INtitled your own opinion One/Vind. Everyone of the members of the band are extremely talented. Not only can they play their instruments better than most bands but when they sing they sound phenomenal. They are always intune and have and ear for music. I Love Daves Voice. Thats the reason i started listening to him cause it was so original. then i became a huge fan of the music. His lyrics are the most original, best stuff ever.

I dont think that "grace" is refering to a specific person. I think that it refers to the "grace" of a woman. The part that makes him complete is gone. But it means something different to everybody. In my eyes it is one of the most beautiful songs written. |

i agree that this song has so many messages and i agree with what alot of people are saying. But in this song, there is something that always grabs my attention. "right wrong weak strong, ashes to ashes, we all fall down." thats from the nursery rhyme ring around the rosie. That song is not the happy fun song you thought it was. It is actually about the black plague The "ring around a rosie" refers to the round, red rash that is the first symptom of the disease. The practice of carrying flowers and placing them around the infected person for protection is described in the phrase, "a pocket full of posies." "Ashes" is a corruption or imitation of the sneezing sounds made by the infected person. Finally, "we all fall down" describes the many dead resulting from the disease. |

I started listening to Dave Matthews about a year and a half ago. I AM IN LOVE WITH HIS MUSIC. The first Cd i got was Everyday. I kept listening and listening and listening to it. and still do. Now i have all of his CD's and love All of them FOR WHAT THEY ARE. Each one of his CD's say something a little different to me. Each of his songs say something different to me. Things always change. But change isnt all bad.
Now. I know that Everyday is a bit different from the others but thats good! I play in a jazz band and i know how good change can be. I would not like to listen to the same soloist for every song in our set. It gets boring! It gets to be routine! I like a little change to spice things up.
Anyway... this is supposed to be comments about the song Angel, not the cd everyday.... so here are my comments about angel. I love it! It IS THE BEST ON THE BOULDER COLORADO CD! It is soooo awesome! YAY! |

And i would also like to add that i agree with SheaTay. I like Everyday. I love how in live at Folsom Field Boulder Colorado they sing everyday and #36 together. It sounds awesome |
