I think this was perfect. Native myths surrounding crows portrays them as magickal creatures, kind in the same way the Egyptians viewed cats. They connect the living with the spirit world and send messages. This song is just the perfect song to convey the pain of losing a loved one. Imagine sleeping next to someone every night and then never being able to sleep with them again because they were dead. "Every night I burn, every night I call your name" They are haunted by their loved one in their dreams. They wake up at night "Screaming the animal scream" to find that it was just a dream and they were still gone. "I wait for my only friend" "I wait for the world to end". Its a bit Romeo and Juliet, except nobody's committing suicide. They continue to live out their lives in agony, alone, waiting for their turn to face death. When the world ends, they'll be together again. Til' death do they part and til' death do they reunite. |

| Just wanted to add that when I hear "neutralize every man in sight", to me it means that while the woman is drop dead gorgeous and is able to seduce any man, she doesn't requite with any other except with him. She turns all of them down except for the one guy that's head over heels for her. Neutralizing someone is seeing a behavior becoming a problem and nipping the problem in the bud before it even gets to the point of anyone getting embarrassed or awkward. In this case, the problem would be other guys thinking they could still have a chance with her even though she's taken. | |

To me, its like life moving forward and racing to escape a vicious cycle. Its acknowledging the turmoil and dishevel of the world and developing beliefs that lead to what is a "correct" and mature way of viewing the world, which increases the chances of survival. Life finds a way and the will to live is a dandelion breaking and emerging through concrete. |

So, what I think, besides this obviously being about having sex with a very sexy lady, is that this isn't just any lady! It's a queen! Besides "thickness" referring to her nice lower half, she has another type of "thickness". He talking about wanting to get it on with an extremely powerful woman. I think the "thickness" means a woman with tough skin who can take criticism like a queen but also dish it out. And when she bitches out the right people for the right reasons, like a queen, she's hot! It's a very sexy woman who doesn't take shit from worms. |
