After reading some of the comments I just want to clarify that the lyrics are definitely "you know me, Ellen, enough to tell". If you hear a live version of the song or any other recording apart from the one on the single then it's a lot clearer that this is what's being said. Also read an interview with Klass who said that the song is about walking away from someone and didn't originally have anything to do with self help or drug use, as understandable as it would be for people to connect the song with such themes because of its use in Intervention. |
