| Every time I hear this song, I dissolve into uncontrollable tears :-( . My Dad was diagnosed with terminal colorectal cancer in October 2003 - when I was 21. This followed the sudden death of my mother in July of the same year. For me, the lyrics have always made me extremely emotional - because, essentially, all I wanted to do was 'fix' my Dad - in the same way that he had done countless times during my childhood. | |
