I am shocked that nobody has figured-out the THEME/MEANING of this obvious song. And I'm an ATHEIST, for God's sake! This song is about GOD. HA! How obvious! God is the "maker of rules", and all that other stuff in this song. God can "read your mind", etc. "I am the eye in the sky Looking at you. I can read your mind. I am the maker of rules. Dealing with fools. I can cheat you blind. And I don't need to see any more To know that I can read your mind, I can read your mind." Remember that song by the daughter of Pat Boone?? Namely, "You Light Up My Life"? Well, that was about God too! HA! And I'm an Atheist, yet even I can figure this stuff out!! HA!! |
