"It's plain to see it's trying to speak" why is 'IT' trying to speak? this is really kinda supernatural to me. kind of like "it" is referring to another entity, separate from the Protagonist and his lover. it feel like a third person looking in; perhaps the fans??? |

| To myself this is the most haunting song i have ever heard in my life.The reason for the is that this song has a direct correlation to the falling of the Twin Towers three months after the release of this song!!! I can not listen to this song without basically crying!, It feels like a premonition to me. Even the title Citizen Erased basically described what happened!. From 5 mins into the song you can start hearing a siren!, and this is EXACTLY the same fire alarm siren i heard on that terrible day whilst watching the soot covered citizens come away from the wreckage that day on BBC News coverage!!!!; this has haunted me to this day. | |

| I just feel this is explaining the feeling that has been described as 'Space Dementia', where your feelings and your thoughts are confused by the anti-gravity of being in the ISS, you are alone but with 'colleagues', your still have your own thoughts desires and sexual feelings, but all you have as a friend is Space; you can not really relate to these people who are strangers in space with you. I always thought the song was about accidental deaths! maybe I am way off the mark here, but it's my interpretation. Swallowed by the Bed - Suffocation? Caught in the Phone - tripping on the Lead? Hammering the Walls - into Electrics maybe? Sleepwalking Falls - as it says? Overstepping Out - walking out the house, sleep walking? Haunting the Halls - visiting back after the unfortunate accident! What do you think on this interpretation??? |
