(To me) This song is about relationships possibly even infidelity, and the emotional battle that one would face. I think the premise of the song is based on that feeling you get when you want some one you can't have, or shouldn't have, and the fear of what consequences lie ahead, like being shattered by the person you open yourself to or ending up alone by the end. It's the feeling of "I shouldn't be doing this" mixed with the feeling of "this feels so right". |
