To me it seems like the meaning is that there is someone for everyone and you never know who that person could be regardless of any age or any social differences. I may be wrong. I’m not getting any incest reference but everyone can interpret the lyrics differently |

Others have written its about suicide. It’s obviously not. I’m not downing anyone, if you are fortunate enough to not have suffered depression , you may think suffering from depression and suicide go hand in hand. Most that have battled depression realize suicide is not the solution. It is a selfish act that will ruin your loved ones lives. Paraniod was written when the writer was in a “bad place,” a extremely down moment and put his feelings at that moment on paper. Thank God he did. The song would not have the same beauty if it was written while looking back on that moment. Damn, I wish I had the talent to take my feeling and turn it into beautiful music. That is amazing talent and why music is the greatest form of art. |

@[Andypips:29850] you nailed it. Others have written its about suicide. It’s obviously not. It was a moment when the writer was in a “bad place” and put his feelings at that moment on paper. Thank God he did. It has to be done at that moment when your emotion is pouring out. You can’t catch the emotion by looking back at that moment and writing. Damn, I wish I could take my feeling and create music. That is real talent and why music is the greatest form of art. |
