Amy Jo Johnson – Puddle of Grace Lyrics 10 years ago
"Have you seen yourself today? Could you recognize your face? Can you tell me what to say? Mine's lost without a trace."

Basically saying that she's starting to forget who she is and doesn't recognize herself when she looks in the mirror, figuratively.

"Momma, can you help me please? My hero just stabbed me with a knife that I did lend. Oh, Momma, who's my friend?"

She doesn't know what to do because someone she trusted betrayed her and now she isn't sure what to believe or who she can really trust.

"Tell me, tell me, why do you go when all the diamonds have run dry? Tell me, tell me, how do you feel after bittersweet good-byes?"

She's asking why no one sticks around after she has nothing left to give them, and then she asks what to do after someone leaves you.

"I had almost found my face; I was almost me. But my pride couldn't swallow what I ate. Boy, I hope you're happy."

She had almost recovered form the betrayal when she screwed up and backslid, and she's expecting a "I told you so."

"Tell me, tell me, why do you go when all the diamonds have run dry? Tell me, tell me, how do you feel after bittersweet good-byes?"

See above.

"How do you feel when all the diamonds have run dry? How do you feel after bittersweet good-byes?"

Repeated again.

"Today I found my face floating in a puddle of grace...a porcelain doll with cracks to mend. Oh Momma, I found a friend. Oh Momma, I found a friend. Oh Momma, I found a friend."

She finally found out who she was, despite all of the cracks and scars included. She found a friend who wouldn't betray her.

Just my interpretation.
