I think this song is, kind of like Bloody Mary, about someone who was in a bad position as a child (I.E. getting hit, or abused) who looked forward to playing "Make Believe" with his friend. It was the only thing he'd love to do, act like he isn't really an abused child but instead an imaginary character ( A knight of some sorts?). And the verse is him describing to his friend how without him, he might have not been able to survive the abuse... I don't know, thats just the way I heard it... |
