What I take from this song is a simple message of getting away, going to a land of hope and dreams, a place where your dreams will not be thwarted, a land where bells of freedom ring and there's no darkness. Everyone is invited too! whores and gamblers, lost souls, saints and sinners, losers and winners... the brokenhearted. The train mentioned in the song definitely sends powerful message, as you can imagine a big train carrying every type of person mentioned rolling through the fields where sunlight streams.
