Local Natives – Colombia Lyrics 11 years ago
That's not what he's saying. He is saying "If you never knew how much, if you never felt all of my love". I think he means now that she is gone, he prays that she can now see and fell how much he loves her. I've seen the band perform this song live twice and the words are easier to hear when you're in a small venue, right in front of the band.

Local Natives – Mt. Washington Lyrics 11 years ago
I'm not really sure what this song is about, but whatever Taylor is thinking while he's singing, it's fucking beautiful. The part "face stained in the ceiling, why does it keep saying", haunts me. It's like, at night, when you can't sleep, when your mind won't stop long enough for your body to rest. And that one person is on your mind, just always there, stained into your minds ceiling. I just love it. Local Natives are my absolute favorite band.

I was afraid "Hummingbird" wouldn't stand a chance against their first album, "Gorilla Manor". But, I should have had faith because this album is perfection. And this song, there aren't enough words to describe how beautiful it is.

Aqualung – Cold Lyrics 11 years ago
This song was specifically written for Breaking Dawn Part 1. There are parts in the song like "sing for the lion and lamb" which refers to the quote from Twilight "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb", Edward being the lion, Bella being the lamb. Anyone that has read Breaking Dawn or seen the first installment knows Bella is pregnant and is barely clinging onto life. Edward does that agree with her choice to keep the baby because it is killing her, thus the lyrics "God and his priest and his kings, all were waiting". Basically saying, Bella's going to die, so they're waiting on her arrival. The place the song was included in the movie depicts scenes of Bella as nothing more than a bag of bones, as well as Edward yelling at her for the first time, telling her she's making the wrong decision. The scenes were "Cold", and sad. This is pretty much a very dark love song, perfect for the movie.

Feist – Fire In The Water Lyrics 11 years ago
I need this to be longer. Her voice is unlike any other. And the music, like a dream wide awake. Leslie has been my favorite singer for awhile now, and I am not ashamed to admit, I am also a Twihard. So when you add the two together, you can't go wrong. You can't go wrong with Feist anyway. And the scene this song was in, just perfect.

Beyoncé – I Miss You Lyrics 11 years ago
Love Frank Ocean for writing this very simple, but very beautiful. And of course, B's smooth voice compliments it perfectly. Although, I do enjoy Frank's live cover that he performs at shows. Hard to not shed a tear when he sings it.
