I remember seeing AJJ back in March. Ben wasn't there as he had recently gotten married. But when Sean sang this song and the line "I would kill a kitten to save a human being", he paused for a second and said that his grandfather was dying of cancer, and if they had to kill his dog to save the life of his grandfather he would.
I couldn't help but agree with him. I've seen friends and family die of cancer. One of my best friend's dads is dying of it and every day I see him grow weaker and weaker. If animal testing could save his life, could have saved my grandmother's life, my grandfather's life, or my neighbor's life, then I would commend it, and I commend it in that some day it may lead to better treatments for diseases and crippling illnesses. |
