Air – Kelly Watch the Stars Lyrics | 10 years ago |
I like to think they're saying "can you reach the stars?". |
Beach House – Wedding Bell Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Hello You're hoping tomorrow's never saw But you're singing the only words you know Would you cry, if I lied, told a tale? I chose, yeah You're ringing the only wedding bell And we're swimming the seas we know so well I tried, to stay alive, in our beds, in our heads Oh, but your wish is my command Ahhh, is your heart still mine to sail? I met you/I enjoy Nothing more Ahhh I chose, yeah You're ringing the only wedding bell And we're swimming the seas we know so well I tried, to stay alive, in our beds, in our heads Oh, but your wish is my command - of course all of our edits will never be submitted because of the 'any changes will be sent to the copyright owner(s) for approval' thing |
Tame Impala – Feels Like We Only Go Backwards Lyrics | 11 years ago |
It definitely is "It feels like I only go backwards LATELY" instead of babe. Of course with this new thing of edits being 'sent to the copyright owner(s) for approval' it will never be corrected. |
Beach House – The Arrangement Lyrics | 11 years ago |
it is "in a party of spies", "good at reading other people's smiles", "the bright side of dark light". also, even the dumbest of beach house's b-sides sounds freaking amazing |
Grimes – Oblivion Lyrics | 11 years ago |
I read somewhere that this song is about a physical attack by some stranger that she experienced in Vancouver. |
Grimes – Genesis Lyrics | 11 years ago |
It might also be "Home in the night". She seriously has some pronunciation issues. |
Grimes – Genesis Lyrics | 11 years ago |
Also, I think it's "my heart, I'll never be, I'll never see, I'll never know" and "Home and I know [maybe], playing the vagabond, it's always different, I'm the one who falls" and then the second time "I'm the one who loves". you can figure this out pretty clearly in the live performances of the song. |
Beach House – Zebra Lyrics | 11 years ago |
this is the hell of a moving comment. |
Animal Collective – Gotham Lyrics | 12 years ago |
The "aaah-ah-ah-aaaah" part and the "I will keeping trying" one always get me. These guys never stop pursuing the road to perfection. Oh and judging from the last line, I'd say this is some kind of an anthem to New York and its humanity. |
Brian Eno – Here Come the Warm Jets Lyrics | 12 years ago |
these lyrics probably are not the actual one, but i think they are the closest to them i ever found. Father, we make claims on our knees Dawn enter here for we've nowhere to be Nowhere to be Nowhere to be Father, stains they're all on our knees Down on our words and we've nothing to be Nothing to be Nothing to be Father, down we're all on our saints Paid to appease though we've nothing these days Nothing these days Nothing these days Father, here they're sprawled in a daze We're down on our knees and we've nothing to say Nothing to say Nothing to say... |
