The music reminds me of Twin Peaks. I read that some lyrics on this album are quotes from famous cult leaders. They said they were inspired by how these obviously deranged people can sometimes say things so beautiful. And that they like dark subject matter sung sweetly. I totally agree. The Cardigans, did that well. It always amused me how she could say something really hatefull but sooo sweetly. Hope you know what I mean.....sorry couldn't resist either. |
