First of I did like to say I'm flattered someone posted several of the lyrics it means at least someone is enjoying them. This song and it's counterpart are based of failing relationships and not wanting to let the person go hence the "move on with you and only with you" lines. Even though the songs are something of an apology for leaving. The last verse of this part are directed to my daughter. As a parent I'd rather see her live her life and be happy with every ounce of her life no matter what. But you can also take it as something of a if your happier away from where you were. I don't know. Also on the demo version there's a verse that you left out. "I guess I should have apologized, Just makes it harder to carry on. I thought you were someone Id like to say was everything ...Someone that means nothing Move on with you And only with you I don't know my time was something That meant anything" |
