| Haha, this song is hilarious. Out of all honesty, I don't like the tune or the way he sings, but the lyrics are hilarious...i love the "i made out with your best friend the otherday and now we're best friends too". In the music video, that one part he's like, got the blonde curly hair with the star type background, he looks like a bad heath ledger...thats so funny "and we'll all go over to my house, my crib, my pad." | This isn't a very Incubus type song, but thats the beauty of Incubus, they're SO versatile and can do pretty much anything. Its always interesting to see the new route they take with every album. I like this song though. It's so upbeat and happy, I can't help but get excited too. It's a good song to listen to when your about to head out for the night or hang with friends. | I love this song. It's so sweet. I remember hearing it on the radio and I liked it (before I knew it was Incubus) then when I got the CD (I didn't even know this was the song) and heard it, I almost cried. It soo sweet, the way he says "You are stellar" in the beginning. The like the music video (btw, im pretty sure that's the girl he wrote the song about) how she walks up and stares into space, and Brandon's face is kinda misted into it. It's such a great song...if it ever becomes a song for me and a future boyfriend, that probably means he's the one ;) | |

I know it sounds different, but it is "hands are busy in the air" and "blue blanket". Its on the CD cover. This is a great song. I love reminscing about the beach listening to this. Everytime I'm somewhere I love, this song pops into my head because I'd love to share the moment with my friends, because the perfect place to be, what more would make it perfect then being thier with friends? I can't wait, I get to see them next month on their Morning View concert when it comes. Oh, I can't wait to see Brandon live...(yes, I know, I love everyone else in the band, it wouldn't be a band w/o 'em). |

I don't know...I love all the Incubus songs. That's half the fun listening to them, not knowing what instruments they're gonna always use, how the sound and voices change so drastically. Like, you've got this song, then you've got this happy upbeat "Are you In" on Morning View. Then u've also got their "rap" and jazz collaborations. They just can do practically anything and sound good. My fav. part is You stare at me like I'm a vitamin. On the surface you hate, but you know you need me. I'll come dressed as any pill you deem fit. Whatever helps you swallow truth all the more easily. |

LoL, I admit, I "love" Brandon. I'm sorry, but I'm not blind, and he's HOT! But, I do love Incubus's music. Like, I heard Drive and Pardon Me, but didn't know it was them, but loved the songs. And then I saw a YM mag. and was like "whoa, that cover dude is hot" and saw it was Brandon (my friend went on and on about him), so I got the CD from the library and realized it was them and was SO happy I finally figured out the band, lol. Of course, now I know Incubus more, I don't like seeing Brandon in those magazines (come on...those articles are pathetic!), but hey, I still hang up the pics. To the point, I think this is a good song. It's not about him getting high. It was either about his arm falling asleep on a flight to Europe or he got a tatoo, but his arm went numb, and he wrote it about when his arm came back. I forget which one, if you look on some Incubus sites, he says. I love how the beat and words go so well together. I'm sorry, but I truely think Incubus can get the title of being "lyrical genius's". I LOVE how they're songs aren't ALL about relationships, you know? And unlike other rock bands, their songs aren't depressing (about drugs, ok, early ones were, and depression, suidicide). Gotta love 'em, the WHOLE band, not just Brandon. |

| This is my second favorite song (Just a Phase is my fav.). I LOVE the music video for it...how Brandon's sitting, and he looks to the side and kinda gets this smile and the rest of the band tackles him down, then they show a couple slides, and then he's in another room, and is getting up and smiling. Ohhh, gotta love him. I also love the beat of it (especially on the CD how it comes after him kinda screaming, and it gets so quiet). It's also got a good message, you've gotta choose your own decisions, your own life, don't let anyone rule it. But I love how he's like "Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, with open arms and open eyes", like you've gotta live with whatever decision you make and make the best out of it. Whenever I feel depressed, I listen to this and keep thinking "Yep, I've gotta hold out for tomorrow and embrace it, because only I can make it better." Even if its not the meaning, its what it is for me, and I love it. | |

OK, just ignore Yodi he/she/it just doesn't know good music and has a diff. opinion. Why IT posted is beyond me though, just to annoy us fans. Either way, this song is GREAT! They do play it alot here in the US, but I still love it. It is about hope I think, for anything. Even though this is so far fetched, my uh, friend, kinda changed for the worst, its not the same person I know, so we ended the friendship...but everytime I hear this song I still hope he'll somehow find his old self and comeback. My fav. part is the "I'm praying you don't burn out, or fade away." For some reason, whenever I hear that I think of Kurt Cobain (the quote, Its better to burn out then fade away). But I also do hope it doesn't happen to my friend. |

| This is my favorite Sugar Ray song. For me what it means is like a lot of you said. This girl and guy fall in love, and this girl falls into a sort of depression, and this guy is trying to do all he can because he knows. Possibly she's verbally abused by a parent (all those words that hurt you, more than you will let it show). Like "Everyone sees right through you" like, everyone in her life knows the happiness is fake or she's being fake, and he's the only one who knows the real her. Like about her hand disappearing and such, he feels he's loosing her, but isn't sure what to do because in a sense he's feeling lonely, but isn't sure what to do because she won't open up enough to him.
