if you notice in the video the people beatin him up are actually clones of him. which i think means he is tearing his own life up but in the end he realizes he has to escape from the past and look forward to the future |

Some of you have the right idea. this song is generally talkin bout how nothing has gone right in their life ("your life fell apart in your hands"). it means you have to get back up in order to move on. and no they are not referring to drugs. they are talking about wounds meaning all the things that has ruined their life. "its not the first time, and theyre getting deeper" means the struggle, or "wounds" so to speak, is getting worse. "Pull it together. Button up your shirt. Roll down those sleeves." means to try and get ur life together. dont show anyone the struggle you have been through---> "Roll down those sleeves". "Don't let them see how you've coped" means to keep to urself how you dealt with your struggle. and by crutch they mean the people who matter to you or care bout you in your life. |
