i kinda have to agree with the smashing pumpkins guy here i dont believe scott weiland has been free from heroin for 7 years... maybe like 2 or 3 but i dont think 7 scott really fucked up using that shit =/ he'll never be the same ...but it seems like hes cured himself of heroin addiction by becoming an alchoholic id rather him be an alchoholic than a heroin addict maybe the old booze is whats helping scott gain some weight again! |

this song reminds me of this picture of this girl who gotten into a serious car wreck after she was hit by a drunk driver and suffered permanent damage to her face for life that are posted all over the walls of my school to remind people not to drink and drive to me the song reminds me about the girl like the one who was permanently affected for life by the car wreck its a sad song... about the insecurities of a woman who lives in shadows and tries to hide from the world Lady picture show she hides behind the bedroom door Lady picture show she hides behind the bedroom wall - she is horribly disfigured now and embodied in eternal scars on her face... this has caused physcological trauma and deep insecurites and now she is afraid to be in the public due to the events of what has happened to her She hides because she don't know nothin', don't know nothin' anymore - the personal trauma has taken over her life completely She doesn't know her name She doesn't know her face - shes looking in the mirror feeling sorry for herself... she was innocent in life.. the accident was not even her fault yet she is the one who is suffering and the confusion is too much for her and has thrown her into a deep depression anyways one of my favorite Stone Temple Pilots song possibly not the true meaning of the song but hope i offered some decent alternative insight |

i find this song to be about a "backseat affair" its possible scott weiland had an affair with his first wife... he was new to being popular and famous and now suddenly has girls throwing themselves at him for the first time in his life and he didnt know how to handle it properly sounds like scott weiland took it too far one night and fucked some girl in the backseat of his car ... afterwards as scott is driving to take this girl home he is having regret about cheating on his wife as the lyrics would make some reasonable proof of my theory |
