wake up america? this is the new WORLD order, I am so god damn sick of Americans who think that they are the entire world themselves. I am an Australian and i can see the signs here as well. your message is very real and green day have got right behind it, this song begins the album with George realizing the NWO is coming. |

Green Day – 21 Guns Lyrics

I think this song is about the alienation felt by those who try to liberate themselves from the system. George and Gloria have been fighting the system and preaching their message for most of the album. This song also reflects the effects that returning soldiers suffer from the horrors of war, perhaps after George went to war in "peacemaker"? |

we dont live in a 1984 reality. where are the 3 supernations nations? the thought police? we have freedom of speech and democracy. this song is set in the future not the past. if we dont do something now then this will happen. |

Muse – Guiding Light Lyrics

to fans of muse: read the novel "1984" by George Orwell and research the new world order and this album will make more sense. this song is about when Winston is trapped in the prison place without his lover or "guiding light" in Julia. of cors the song can also be interpereted as losing hope in any other situation |

following on from the ideas of "race for the prize" where mankind is saved by 2 scientists but it comes at a cost. the cost and its extent is revealed in this song but it also provides some optimism because the love and compassion of mankind shone through and they rescued everyone |

Coldplay – A Whisper Lyrics

the second half of a rush of blood to the head i reckon is all about the feelings and emotions following the ecstasy of "green eyes". this song explores a more shallow reaction where the character is just simply lost and cant find a way back to the "green eyes" situation. |
