I love the piano at the beginning of the song! It's like little ballerinas taking little quick steps on their toes! I wish i could play the bloody piano like her! Aaaarrgghh!!! This is why I sometimes find it torturous listening to Tori Amos, i get super jealous ^-^ Nywho, i really dont bother what the song is about, i just love it! The drums, the piano, everything! I'm not really an A7X fan but a lot of the neighborhood kids are so I do know a few of their songs & the latest news & whatnot. Nyway, i really love this song, this & Dear God & their cover of Walk are the only songs I really listen to. M Shadows has a killer voice but I think he's a bit too buff! Even for me, A7X without The Rev (R.I.P) is super wierd!! I hope Portnoy has a blast with the band as well as with the fans. A7X should come here, they'll love it!! Fans here are crazy!!

I dont like the video but I sooo love this song!! The beginning of the song esp where she's singing 'ele, ele, ele?' always reminds me of Gladiator (the part where Crowe dies & floats home) My favourite line is ' I want to run in fields, paint the kitchen & love someone', 'cause it makes me think of quaint English cottages & fields where you can just sleep under shady trees, read a book or just do nothing, an escape from monotony. Basically this song just makes me wish I had a my own house in the countryside. n_n |

I love the drums on this song, it has this hollow yet compact sound to it. I havent cried listening to this song or anything like that but this is such a difficult song to listen to because Tori's raw emotions just seem to grab me by the throat or something. The loneliness she must have felt, how forsaken she must have felt makes wish i was there to hold her, you know, just be there for her, plain & simple. I've never been good with words but just being there for my friends at their most difficult time, you know, just listening, just being that other person in that naked time, that's what really matters, that's what I've learnt from this song. |

This is my favourite Led Zeppelin song. I wish I could pen down what the song means to me, how much i adore the lyrics, but English isnt my 1st language so my vocabulary is restricted to just this. The song speaks to me more on the grounds of a father daughter relationship. Despite the distance, heartaches, fights, the tumultuous relationship they have, love eventually brings them together again and heals their frail relationship. I think the song beautifully brings out in words and in music just how powerful a force love is. |
