Bob Marley and the Wailers – Pimpers Paradise Lyrics 14 years ago
agreed with everyone above but by the title 'Pimpers paradise' he means that because she's caught up in that life style and vanity that she would be vunerable to a pimp's lies and promises and charm, making her someone a pimp would wanna target to work for him. This was and could still be a common thing in jamaica.

Bob Marley and the Wailers – Kaya Lyrics 14 years ago
seriously bobmarley4everrr. change your screen name this is the second time ive seen you saying something negative about him smoking herb. it was a part of his rasta culture amd religion! which he was completely dedicated to. you need to listen to more of his songs and open your mind..reallllyyyy listen to what he's saying, perhaps some herb to go with it, and read about what bob marley stood for and what he worked for throughout his life. very few of his songs were about herb, if any, he used it more or less as a play on words in order for his music to be more "main stream",especially in america. The message is delivered through the illusion of talking about herb because he knew that is what people criticised him for. that being said in rastafari kaya means 'enlightenment'. He is talking about enlightenment. if you believe this song is about herb then you do not understand what Bob faught for through his music. Marley is truth

bobmarley4ever im not sure if you like marley or not but h didnt smoke herb for people to look at him as cool or a rebel..he smoked it because it was part of his religion. he was a devout rastafarian and if rastafarian requierd its followers to not use herb he would have done it without a second though..that being said, if marley had not used herb he would not be the marley as he is known today..a great musician, symbol of peace, historical figure, and most of all a prophet and enlightenment for not just jamaicans but for african descendants across the world

Bob Marley and the Wailers – Wisdom Lyrics 14 years ago
agreed louiseruben88 but its not about people not excepting things that they dont know. most of his songs focused on enlightening black people about the injustices of governments in the world, mostly jamaica and america. He was mostly refering to whites or "the rich man" who gets wealth and hapiness out of "his" cities..but for blacks to get wealth happiness out of the "holyplace" basicly meaning Religion and God
