Shannon was not a Herion addict even ought he proved Heroin before, he was not an addict to this drug, he had a Cocaine addiction and I think to Crack also, but when blind melon started he only used Weed and Mushrooms sometimes, I guess he start using Hard drugs after Blind Melon become Famous, but this is definitely my FAVORITE Band of all times, RIP SHannon Hoon, I love you dude wherever you are!! |

Such a great song, my interpretation of this song is the connection between Nature and Us, In my case I always feel in peace when Im outside in the Beach, Mountains or whatever NATURAL place, specially smoking some POT, haha |

When you smoke a lot of WEED you feel a connexion with Nature, well at least that happened with me and many of my frinds who also smoke POt, I don't know why does that happen but I think there is a connexion between Weed and Nature, that is the reason that whole album speaks about nature, and all those feelngs we had or we realise are important in our life when smoking weed. |

It seems like talk about WEED dude... "Maybe I'll have to get high Just to get by", not only that but the whole song talks about you feeling happy and with no inhibitions, and I am a marihuana smoker and belive it really takes your inhibitions out sometimes.

Shannon Hoon personally told the manager of that tour that, he had used LSD on that concert (woodstock 94), he WAS NOT ON COCAINE there, but I do think the song talks about he struggling with coke addiction, he should stay with Marihuana only in my personal opinion, cause marihuana is not as much destructive as cocaine is, but well I guess is too late now for Shannon to realise about that, anyway he was a great artist and inspiration for me and many other people around the world RIP to shannon hoon. |
