these lyrics scream "sex" to me. this girl wants some action, she wants to be taken, she's after a thrill. she wants to feel it. she doesn't want gentle, she wants this boy or a boy who "kisses and bites," and she wants to shake mountains while they "dance." she thinks of herself as a doll, a toy; maybe she wants to be used. which makes me think of another, completely unrelated song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," with the lyrics "some of them want to use you, some of them want to get used by you. some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused." she could be letting him use her as a sex toy, but she's obviously getting something out of it as well.

i didn't think about it that way, but it makes sense.
i tend to relate things to situations in my life. to me it means that a lot of girls are all over the singer and want to be with him, but he doesn't want any of them, he only wants one person who isn't any of them. |

i better not think about dicks and sex when i listen to this song now. sure, that could be one interpretation of it, but it seems to me that it means more than that.
"gonna take ya away from harm." some guy who banged a girl he just met probably wouldn't think such a sentimental thought.
"i wanna hold her, i wanna kiss her." this line could extend to sex, but on the surface it doesn't. he just wants to be with her.
unfortunately, it looks like pretty much everything else in the song can go either towards sex or whatever a more sweeter meaning to the song is. i'll be pissed if all i think about this song now when i listen to it has to do with sex. |
