I agree with Antisheep...and even with this line "Just why do they say Have a nice day anyway -We both know they wouldn't mind" this is her thought on the world being fake, contributing to her depression...WAR but WAR within herself...the almost Rosey means she is trying "If I just curled up and died-Let's not give that one a try." You know Tori loves speaking to the other self...personalities she has. |

This song is CLEARLY about herself as two women...the strong woman, the weak woman...going at it LIKE SISTERS...BLANKETS (can't find their thread and their bare means one blanket made up of many threads which is one body made up of more than one self) both inner selves failing a man...this is why she wrote CAN'T STOP WHAT'S COMING-CAN'T STOP WHAT'S ON ITS WAY because even her stronger self can't seem to get this solider. Her stronger self is now "sand under his shoe" There is nothing that can be done. If you notice in her live recording, she mentions "Can't Stop Loving You." She sees it coming, that there is nothing she can do. I've got your mind I said she said I've your voice I said you don't need my voice girl you have your own but you never thought it was enough of so they went years and years like sisters blanket girls always there through that and this there's nothing we cannot ever fix I said |

Tori will deny, this is what makes the song so popular. I do believe it is about Kurt and Courtney, in addition to Trent and Courtney's play time. A Tori fan knows how much she loved Trent. Slag means whore and i believe the first line "Slag pit, stag shit, oh, honey bring it close to my lips, yes" is what Kurt was saying....he is angry at her and he is calling her honey (his wife) put it (gun) close to my lips, yes. She then answers"Don't blow those brains yet...we got to be big boy." Also symbolically about Trent and Tori. Starfucker just like my daddy selling his baby may be about Tori's father selling her to sin (her music) because of fame/money. Starfucker is also Trent, in return he calls her his GOD in his song, angry because she also sold their love to fame. In Trent's song he mentions selling his soul (his BABY-his pride), which makes sense when Tori sings of SELLING HIS BABY. Professional Widow is not only about Courtney but is about Tori and Trent...it is a hell of a triangle because Tori always admired Kurt Cobain, as well and Trent rumored to have slept with Courtney. She is going to strike a deal, she is going to give him a taste of his own medicine...just like her daddy, strikeing a deal to where he accepts her career. There are many metaphors.
