I'm not so sure about that Aniland. Do you have a source? The reason I doubt it is the massive amount of breakup songs Wilson has written, with some of them containing "She" or "Her" etc. |

Too obvious for a Blackfield song? Blackfield isn't exactly filled with cryptic lyrics and hidden meanings, the songs are pretty straightforward in my experience.
"Zigota" is a reworking of the Aviv Geffen solo track "זיגוטה" ("Zigota") from the album Memento Mori.
In case anyone was wondering. I have also read that Geffen wrote almost all of the tracks. |

I actually like the lyrics to this song. Steven Wilson is not unfamiliar with break up songs, and he conveys different types of emotions with different songs. Start of Something Beautiful is quite sad, Shesmovedon is reflective and well, sad, as I guess most breakup songs would be.
This one is just plain bitter, which is a definite stage of some post breakup. You feel nothing but bitter resentment, and this song conveys that perfectly, and so do the lyrics. |
