I think with in the night he just may refer to them going into the night ( night meaning death) together.... Basically....saying....if we go....lets go together, because I don't want to be the one left behind/ leaving you behind. Indeed, it is a very touching song that (aside from the many many many funny jokes about the innuendo of the lyrics) just really is deep and beautiful. It is also...touching...that they wrote this song together, something that they just share...it's cute...and I love this song even more now <3 |

I think that with same love, same hell and god, he means the people in his 'world' ( read 'emogothpunkjunkies' as they are usually called). People tend to look down on this 'kind' people, isolating them and making fun of them. I think he means here that we ( the listeners) all like this kind of music, and should be proud of it and not hide it just for the sake of not being laughed at....I don't know how it is worldwide, but where I live very many people go 'omfg you listen to TH?! ewww emo!' I see this song both as critics on the way people treat him; 'you can touch, I'm only human' and as an advise to just be proud of who you are and have the guts to stand up for yourself. ...or something. It could be just me... ^^" |

I second kaiella, in the way that those lyrics give me the impression of one person writing about things....while he knows nothing about it in real life; he'll just have to take the opinion of others: Life on TV it�s random, it means nothing to me. I�m writing down what I cannot see Because they're celeberities, they've never had the 'normal' lives other people have, their life is on TV and it is as if their live is just an entertainment; not real if you will. One person can write beautiful lyrics about things he never experienced himself... Because his singing, people tell him the songs are beautiful, but will he ever be able to feel it? They�re telling me it�s beautiful. I believe them, but will I ever know the world behind my wall. ....A bit depressing analyse ^^" But I think it's a bit about the cage you're in when being famous; you can't be a normal person having a normal life, yet you sing about it and people tell you it's so pretty and real.... |

Personally....I think it's indeed about someone's past... You're feeling the rush of anguish settling You cannot help showing them in. To me it is as if you're waking up a day, feeling down and already feeling the depressed feelings weighing upon your shoulders, and even though you know it's bad, you can't help but to give in to them... Hurry up then Or you'll fall behind and They will take control of you Here it's like the singer is telling the other that if you don't 'fight' against them or something, those feelings will take control of you, resulting in a person getting depressed. And you need to heal The hurt behind your eyes Fickle words crowding your mind This made me think of someone with a severe inferiority complex; every time you look into the mirror, it hurts to see yourself and words like 'ugly' 'fat' or something like that pop into your mind... ....Then again, this is only my way of seeing things ^^" |
