The Goo Goo Dolls – Iris Lyrics 14 years ago
This song means so much to me. I see it as describing a state of absolute love, bliss, and abandon of a relationship between two lovers. A relationship lived and understood only be them two, possibly without the rest of the world knowing perhaps? ("And I don't want the world to see me - 'cause I don't think that they'd understand.") What makes it sad is the notion that nothing really lasts forever ("When everything's made to be broken"). But they live in the present, and only for one another, like apart from the rest of the world.

"You're the closest to Heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now."

Seems those lines were written just for me lol.

"And all I can taste is this moment - and all I can breathe is your life." Any time anyone experiences a moment of pure joy, bliss, love, happiness with the one they love, they should close their eyes and focus on that moment, and eternalize the moment within their heart and soul. I know every quiet peaceful moment I spend with my boyfriend I think of those lyrics and smile to myself :)

LOVE THIS SONG!! Best love song along with Take My Breath Away by Berlin ;)

Sleepthief – Just Say It - Feat. Kyoko Baertsoen Lyrics 14 years ago
The woman is in love with the man, but as it seems, he is heartless. He says he wants her, needs her, but his words are empty. Or maybe he'd stopped wanting her.

"A heart that always shames love" means to me that he puts love straight out of the equation. I'm thinking this relationship is purely physical, anyways from the guy's point of view, while the woman is clearly deep in love with him.

Story of my current life.

Conjure One – Endless Dream Lyrics 14 years ago

I just discovered this band and I absolutely love them. Very sexy, relaxing, deep tunes.

This song makes me think of well, obviously a dream, but two people sleeping and dreaming on the other one, as if they are both haunting each other's dreams. So the dreams they are having basically serves them as signs of one's waking life desire for the other.

"When the trip is over
You will go back to the places that you once belonged
You will look for comfort there and when you do
You'll find that it is gone"

When the dream is over, you'll be waking up, living your waking life and missing me. Same goes for the second chorus, where the woman dreams of the man..
