This song is an angry song but it is also a song of joy. Nina Simone's songs are often a shout for freedom. "Feeling Good" meaning for me is as follows: Whatever this world throws at me I am happy because this world can't take away my inner freedom. No-one can take away your sky from you. This is one of my most favourite pick-me-up songs. |
