i think its about a guy who is remembering every little detail of the person he loves but he knows that for some sad reason that they cant be together. so hes breaking her heart in a very harsh way so its a clean break. i think the first part of the song is a letter hes writing her or an aside to himself of his weakness for her..fav lyric in the song is "i'm never ever gonna be!" |

i heard this song in the one tree hill tv show, when lucas's mom tells her boyfriend to F*** off! it was
just such an amazing feeling of anger when the chours came on so powerful and raw and honest ..i think this song means that the two people in a relationship and both have problems one is that their drug use has broken the others heart and the others giving a second chance at love for the other will kill either themself or both of them their relationship is very distructive..from the begining its a typical day of sitting around being numb not really noticeing whats happening and just going through the motions of the day when all of a sudden they see eachother and it just finaly hits them and they wake up and just break! |

i think the song is clearly about how a girl feels her heart must be made of metal because it hasnt been worth anything to anyone, its not special, she feels no magic of love. she thinks that she should be in this amazing love story that its destiny and fate but the truth is that she has no story, she ordinary. and this realization has changed her and everything. i thought the part went "i once was lost but now i've found whats mine" i think that would be more desperate. and i thought that the part "to believe in all the bad dreams" means that she shoudnt take it personally that shes is beating herself up over her situation. this song is about getting ur heart so terribly broken from just not having a chance to be in love!--i would know |
