I like your interpretation alot. It's alot like mine. But I think that maybe it's about a girl dreaming (while she is sleeping). The lyric "nobody knows" could mean nobody knows about what she dreams, which is true. The music video to the song is part of why I think this could be the "meaning" of the song. Have you seen it?
