Cage the Elephant – Soil To The Sun Lyrics

This song is about a dream--as he tells us from the outset--a dream that was so mystical and wondrous that he transcended time and space and entered a world much freer than anything consciously imaginable.
These lyrics are fantastic--I imagine melting clocks where the concept of TIME is nonexistent, somewhere in the great beyond--a dream world if you will, a place where there is no evil and money (synonym's) like in our fake little world.

A perfect way to round out what is quickly becoming one my favorite albums. The hippie spirit is alive and well in this funk-jam slick piece of rock n roll music |

GreedyTrooper you need to accept the politics. Its so fucking refreshing to find a band that has something to say, agree or disagree, they have an opinion and its reflected in some really dank music.

Great line from a kick-ass song. I agree that this song is about the politics and business of war. |

State Radio – Democracy In Kind Lyrics

QUIET! This song is awesome. It's reminiscent of John Galts' epic radio speech in Ayn Rand's classic novel, "Atlas Shrugged". Basically, its a call to the people letting them know that their so-called democracy is not a democracy at all. The people in power make decisions based on their self-interests whilst the "classless masses" are left to fend for themselves as their government crumbles from within. |

This is one of State's best--sounds like it could have been off of the Crowes "Three snakes" |
