I interpret this from Adam's perspective. He saw the first full moon because he was the first human here. He's thinking about his choices that he now has. God has taken them out of the dark. They have free will. "Do you mean it, God? We can choose?" But, I agree with zachharrisment. It's very vague and mysterious. |
