to me, this song is about someone that this person doesn't fully know, but already loves. "i miss you even when you're around" this relates to me. all the daydreams you've had about this person, that seemed so real. and when this person is around, you hardly even communicate. |

i personally think reading other's interpretations of songs ruins it, but, this song is an exception, because i love it so much. to me, it's about jesus and god. he knew us as children. he gave us wisdom, so we have the means and desire to be better people. i think the part about the clothes and shoes can be interpreted in that jesus came down as human and wore our clothes, but i think of it as he's always inside our soul, heart. we're never all alone. and if you have nobody in this world, you have them. there's a purpose to what jesus did. sorry if i ruined it for you. i had to.... |

the song brings the memories flooding back. i used to spend almost every weekend at my friend's house, before she moved far away. she was living in the floridian countryside. she lived in an incredibly eclectic house, but it was beautiful, none the less. it brings back memories of strawberry picking on a sunny day, jumping on her trampoline late at night surrounded by mysterious dark forest. it brings back memories of the past. |
