Kings of Leon – Pickup Truck Lyrics | 13 years ago |
i had a slightly different interpretation. Caleb is going out with this girl, he sees her cheating when she "crawls out his pickup truck" (not sure if they're the right lyrics...) Then Caleb beats the crap outta him, but he was only "thinking of her", which to me says he still cares about her after she cheats on him. |

"Some men may follow me But you choose “death and company” " Anyone have any idea what these lines might mean?? |
Ladyhawke – My Delirium Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I always thought this song referenced her Asperger Syndrome. |
Kings of Leon – Sex on Fire Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I was listening to this song and I thought it could possibly be about having sex with a prostitute. "The dark of the alley, the breaking of day". Having sex with prostitutes in alleyways and how it's different and kinkier than just having sex with your gf. Hence the "on fire" part. |

Fall Out Boy – The Take Over, the Breaks Over Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I generally believe this song is about a girl that the singer broke up with but they're getting back together just for the sex. "Baby, seasons change but people don't And I'll always be waiting in the back of the room" You can never change your feelings for me I think he's basically saying. And he'll always be waiting for her if she wants to come back to him. "But don't pretend you ever forgot about me" Pretty self-explanitary. "They say your head can be a prison, Then these are just conjugal visits" Usually people on conjugal visits just have sex. "We do it in the dark, With smiles on our faces" We'll have sex in the dark so we can smile but you can't tell that I'm smiling. Makes sense. |
Snow Patrol – Run Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"I know we'll make it anywhere Away from here Louder, louder And we'll run for our lives I can hardly speak I understand Why you can't raise your voice to say" I think Gary Lightbody might have wrote this when he was very young as the lyrics to me, sound like he he's in a relationship with a girl who's parents don't approve so therefore they're planning on running away together and when they do run away together, she has to keep quite so they won't be found and she "can't raise her voice to say" perhaps anything. And I think the "I can hardly speak" is explaining his excitement. "Light up, light up As if you have a choice" I think this basically means smile, as if you have any say in the matter, which you don't. |
