easy there asshole no need to get worked up. I'm allowed to interpret a song however I want to and I like listening to it better when interpreted that way |

There's for sure a double meaning in this song.... It's basically about a boy (Adam in this case) having to leave a girl that he loves as he goes off on a flight to wherever it is he has to get back to (possibly returning home after visiting a girl he's having a long-distance relationship with). "I'd rather pick flowers instead of fights And rather than flaunt my style I'd flash you a smile of clean pearly whites" He would rather stay with her and pick flowers than have to book a flight to leave her... And he'd rather "flash a smile" at her while he stays with her than having to "flaunt his style" aka walk away from her (just picture her watching him walking into the terminal with his back to her) "I've been to the dentist a thousand times So I know the drill I smooth my hair Sit back in the chair But somehow I still get the chills" He's had to leave this girl quite a few times now after visiting her, but still it hurts just the same. He tries to relax on the plane but just can't. Let me know if anyone else thinks that makes sense |

"I was just looking I had no intention to touch But I know when I'm not welcome So I thank you very much." That part is referencing someone being profiled against, whether racially or whatever other reason, while shopping in a store... |

Damn good work mjshop11 i would've never thought of that stuff. As far as what i did figure out... "Time to take the wheel and the road From the masters Take this car, drive it straight into the wall Build it back up from the floor." Basically saying we not only need to take the power from those in charge but also take all of civilization as we know it, and let this destructive civilization crash as it is bound to do, and then build everything back up and start anew with a different way of living. They seem to be really intrigued by the possibility of the end of civilization as we know- that's pretty much all they talked about in an interview with them I read. |
