I agree, this song is incredible live. Greeley Estates is a great band to see live in general. This really reminds me of Emerson and the Transcendentalists' way of thinking and pointing out that we are too caught up in what other people want and not what our intuition is trying to lead us to do. I love this song. |

There actually are interviews and biographies and such stating that this song is written about John's experience with Taking Back Sunday, along with Sunrise Highway (Your Name Here). The piano is incredible in this song though, I just learned how to play it and once you get it down, it feels incredile. Playing this song relieves so much stress for me. |

I think "the needles, the space, time can't erase" kind of makes me think that maybe he did something wrong and time will never change that and "buttoned down, you'll get the best of me" says to me that I'm giving you my all and it's the best I have. The buttoned down portraying that I am giving you everything of me and this is the real me with no sugarcoats. That's just what I derived. Either way, the lyrics and the music are incredible. |

Chiodos is full of beautiful lyrics. I was in a situation like this once, and this song touches me everytime. I think at one point, I've related to almost every Chiodos song. Craig has such an incredible voice and this song is just incredible. |
