In my opinion, this is about being in love with someone, but something happens and you break up. however, you convince yourself that things will get better and you'll get back together. and you're going through life denying that it's not gonna work. i can't figure out if i'm denying the same thing, but i've convinced myself that we're meant to be, because we always go back to one another. i've never heard this, but the lyrics sound good. just the words are meaningful to me. |

I always saw this song as, she's completely in love with this man, but he's either afraid to commit, or he's testing the waters, maybe with other women and whatnot. They keep breaking up and end up back together. Finally, she can't take that anymore, she wants someone that will love her the way that she loves them and she moves on. She's found that special person when he realizes that she did love him and he loved her. But now it's too late. It's a sad song. Reminds me of a situation I'm in. =/ But I still love this song! It's beautiful. |
