Asking Alexandria – Not The American Average (Album version) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
About killing sluts? Idk, awesome song though. |
The Devil Wears Prada – Louder Than Thunder Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I completely agree. |
The Devil Wears Prada – I Hate Buffering Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Although I'm not religious, the ammount of respect I have for these guys and what they're about is huuuge. This song is awesome. |
The Devil Wears Prada – Lord Xenu Lyrics | 15 years ago |
soccero15, that does makes sense. I was wondering why the reference to Scientology in the title, so hopefully Deatha is right also. |
Cobra Starship – The Ballad of Big Poppa and Diamond Girl Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love the references to Biggie and Lil Kim, but I'm a rap kid. Thoug Cobra Starship is by far one of my favourite bands. |
Memphis May Fire – Therapy Caravan of the Fair Room Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I don't really have anything to contribute about what the song could be about, but I really love the line "Keep me awake, you'll find we have something in common." |
Suicide Silence – The Price of Beauty Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Just from a girl's perspective here; I mainly hang out with guys and they actually treat me like a person compared with those kinds of girls who dress and look the way they do for the sole purpose of attracting guys. Those girls don't end up getting any respect from guys, coz I mean why would you respect something shallow and fake? But yeah these girls spend so long trying to be beautiful, perfect or flawless [getting plastic surgery or whatever] that they're not even real people anymore, so they're not seen or treated as people either they're just used for sex or something. Meh I didn't explain that very well. I don't know about the line: "Don't worry you’re not another rape victim" though. |
Placebo – The Bitter End Lyrics | 15 years ago |
My older sister's always been a huge Placebo fan for what seems like forever and I remember 5/6 years ago I was playing Kingdom Hearts [Halloween Town world] and she played the whole Sleeping With Ghosts CD in the background but it's only when I hear this song it reminds me of that. It's a strange memory really. |
Eminem – Sing For The Moment Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I remember hearing this song when it first came out so I was like 11 and thinking that even back then this song is one of those ones that no matter what kind of music you actually listen to, where you're from or whatever you can relate to it in one way or another. "They say music can alter moods and talk to you but can it load a gun for you and cock it too?" This line reminds me of how people tried to accuse Marilyn Manson for the Columbine Shootings. Ignorant fucks, it goes with anything really if you listen to metal or whatever it doesn't mean you're some murderer to be or because you listen to hip hop doesn't mean you're a thug or whatever it's up to you. |
Paramore – Decode Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I hate Twilight. And I'm not really a fan of Paramore [I was back in like 05 I dunno what happened o_O] But this song is amazing, Hayley's voice is beautiful. |
Bring Me the Horizon – Sleep With One Eye Open Lyrics | 15 years ago |
mymomsapanda, that's so true I love that part of Romance is Dead :D This song's so good, I myself have found myself in situations where my best friend has fucked me over, but oh well. I love the part where it goes "And this is your world fucking falling apart mat, from the inside out.." sounds so sweet. |
Bring Me the Horizon – Diamonds Aren't Forever Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm guessing from the Rawwwrr! reference it's not about a girl but how everyone seems so content to live such generic lives, just like it says in the This is What The Edge of Your Seat Was Made For booklet. "If you think you're alive then you're better off fucking dead." Meaning go out and live your life instead of leading a lame lifestyle of going to school, getting a job, getting married, having kids, dying. And that BMTH actually doing something worth while with their lives other than following that fucking pattern. Gah I can't explain it properly, but Oli always talks about living movie moments in your life coz you could die at any moment so you may as well do something you enjoy rather than saving to buy some car. Yezzur. Oh and best song. EVAH. |
Miley Cyrus – 7 Things Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Oh god I can't believe I like this song D: It's so good she's straying away from the whole Hannah Montana Disney fiend thing, she is too talented for that. |
Bring Me the Horizon – Chelsea Smile Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is so good. I'm guessing this song has something to do with religion from the line: "But if I don't believe in him, why would he believe in me?" But I don't really know what else to say about it. |
Parkway Drive – Horizons Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I think I'm obsessed with the breakdown in this song :D |
Bring Me the Horizon – RE: They Have No Reflections Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love the bit where it says: Do not change the subject, let's go chase the sunset, bring me the horizon, bring me the horizon now. It's amazing. |
Bring Me the Horizon – Rawwwrr! Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"This is about changing the way you live. I know it's hard to change the routine you've been brought into the world and taught with, but I think you should put a lot of thought into it. Do you really want to spend half your life trying to get somewhere [I'm talking school, university] to not even end up getting there? You could die tomorrow, your youth is the best thing you can own. If you let it go for a 'better future' you are stupid, it's not worth it. When you're old - life will suck. Who cares? Do something you want. When you are on you're death bed I can bet my whole fucking life you won't think "Shit, I wish I spent more years in uni on that medical degree so I could of got that Audi I always wanted." Fuck that. Go do stuff that makes your life feel like a movie, there is nothing better than movie perfect moments and that you cannot work for or buy." There direct quote from the booklet (Y) |
