Deep Purple – Call of the Wild Lyrics 15 years ago
The speaker's lost a girl a long time ago, and she is way out of touch, but the speaker's still determined to find the girl once again, by calling her into the "wild," that is, the vast expanse of area the girl could be in, hence the title, "Call of the Wild."

Deep Purple – Bludsucker Lyrics 15 years ago
This encompasses an "artificial, perfect" person, hence the "Chinese eyes" being exotic, "English brain that's gonna make me wise" being intelligent, and "black breast" being full, very large, and voluptuous. This person, however, is made for the sole purpose of destroying others to keep herself alive, so she is, in that sense, a "bloodsucker."

Deep Purple – A Gypsy's Kiss Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song reflects the current problems of the time concerning rock n' roll, that it caused problems with youth, which was the American belief at the time. This song reveals all of the things America has done wrong in the past, and that all of these things in American history made America what it is. The song concludes that rock n' roll is no different, thus they take a "gypsy's kiss" (urination) on the American "aristocracy" for slandering rock n' roll, just as pretty much everyone relevant in American history have done in the past.

Joan Osborne – One Of Us Lyrics 16 years ago
Joan Osbourne is more criticizing people than God in this song. She is highlighting the flaws in organized religion and the inherit circular logic involved with religion and "God," who is really man-made. It's also a bit satirical in the questions it asks, since everyone has their own interpretation of what God would look like, etc., and thinks that their idea is what everyone else thinks. It also hints that God, being so subjective, remote, and abstract, even more so than certain physical laws, doesn't really exist, and that we need to focus on what's going on with people on earth and not some magic mind in the sky, so distant and far away that it probably isn't even real.

Deep Purple – Demon's Eye Lyrics 16 years ago
This is a song about a man who previously loved and was hurt by a woman in the past, and now the woman is regretting what she did and is trying to come back and be with the man, but he's turning her away and doesn't care for her anymore. She's hurt in return, as shown by the lyrics "How does it feel to be turned away?"
