He talking about..i think...how people become so wrapped up in protecting themselves from everyday things. "assembling a nest"- confort for themselves which they built "Frantically" as it is all they are interested in doing. But with being selfish does not come happiness, "Darkness fell wiped out a once joyous tone" He then says how, ironically, it affected those who were so set on being happy for themselves, as they secluded themselves from everything and everyone. |

Everytime this song starts, I want to cry. I think, like youve all said, its the haunting guitar at the beginning. Also the words are beautiful, sung by such a beautiful voice too. |
