I wrote something a couple years ago for my Creative Writing class in college called "21st Century" and I had some lines that are like essentially the same thing as lines in this song, especially Modern World part. And the about a year and a half later Green Day releases ""21st Century"" Breakdown. and as they wrote it better than i did it's just an amazing coincedence that myself and Billie Joe and Green Day can write pretty much the same song just worded differently yet we've never met. And then theres me in debt and Billie Joe just out the goin on tour which shows what a loser I am! =D haha |

Really? He just came out and admitted that it was an anti war song? That seems unusual for him or for most musicians/politicians. Though I can easily see why it can be an anti-war song...duh. And as you said it does get rediculous still hearing people wine about Bush. I used to hate him but now that Obama is Pres. I gotta say that Bush was actually not the idiot I thought him to be. well guys,I think I finally figured out what that weird noise is. I play guitar just about non-stop,and when you sit the guitar up against the amp while its on,its makes a humming noise very similiar to it. I was very excited when i figured that out! somebody with an electric guitar and an amp needs to try it out! turn the overdrive up to about 4,at least. |
