YAY" -----not to pick on you or anything but... sigh... why listen to music if it doesnt have MEANING? i find it really, really depressing that music is losing its meaning and anyone who can throw out a catchy beat is becoming famous. i love music that's obviously got feeling in it. what a smack in the face to her ex. i dont care how she 'deals with things' (see above comment) but this is ridiculous and immature. idk how old she is but "so what" may have a catchy beat, but it's ridiculous that she going to say what she says. last verse: sounds alright and kind of like she tried. but if she honestly loved her ex she couldn't have written THIS song, especially so quickly after her divorce. it sickens me... what is music becoming...? |

the video is up (not on youtube yet, just google it) .........weird. apparently the cd is supposed to be about things 'that make you shudder' or make you uncomfortable. (quote from the lead guitarist) odd. new direction for stg thats for sure. the meaning? okay, my take. sounds like shes not completely real in wanting the relationship with the guy but shes good got an addicting/appealing way of tempting the guy. but "shes in your head" and you cant *get away* from her, so to speak. "let the sweat fall, find me in the back stall. let it snow down..." sounds like using coke in a bathroom to kind of relieve himself about thinking about getting involved with her. he wants it, but knows in his mind shes a fake. so he uses coke so he can do things without regret (for the time being...) |

sounds almost like it could be turning to religion. 'the night' is almost a sarcastic twist of religion and saying he was driven from it, and saw it as evil (night). but now he sees it right in front of him and realizes that he was a slave to himself and the religion is (power beyond containing) and he's encouraged to give in to the night. idk, thats my take.... a stretch, i know. but thats what i saw. |

Yea, it's definitely about a girl leading a guy on and he just goes with it even though he knows it'll never be serious; 'we can just pretend' he sees her as a sin; 'like the devil's got your hand' but he loves the enjoyment that she is for him; 'i fell in love with your sin' It almost seems like he's beginning to let go at the end of the song; 'you were my greatest failure'. Not completely sure how whether he ended it or not but that's my take. |

it's definitely "that their opponent HAD TO BE invincible." awesome song, definitely in support of the troops. and bush isnt my favorite but i definitely support the troops. I honestly don't care whether you support the war or not, but if you dont support the troops... move to russia. but thats an argument for another forum ;) lol |

It sounds a lot like someone who used to hold power and was a feared leader; "feel the fear in my enemy's eyes" but then he was convicted and converted to Christianity. with the change in his ways/attitude he lost respect as a kinder person, lost his power and began to be shunned (as sometimes Christians are); "one minute i held the key, next the doors were closed on me". but "for some reason i can't explain" he doesnt mind losing the power and would rather trust his religion; "who would ever wanna be king". thats what i got from it... |
