Actually, I had interpreted the song to be about the children today. They are the future. Children watch and learn alot more than most adults realize. Conversations on an adult level in front of children are so rampant. People don't realize that kids pick up everything. I understand the alien thing. But I believe it is symbolic about the children of this time and what they see, how they will act and handle life in the future, theirs and ours. On another note, the music is outstanding in this song. It's one of the tunes that could get me a speeding ticket while driving. I love it. |
