Sad song. I'm guessing the guy in the relationship screwed up somehow (desperate and ashamed), and now the girl is leaving him. Or maybe he's just ashamed at how he's so desperate to keep the girl.. maybe he thought he would be stronger than that (since most guys don't like to be seen as weak). Anyway, he truly loves the girl and wishes she would come back, but it looks like the girl is doing just fine without him and doesn't even communicate with him anymore to see if he's ok. As for the 'you'll find your way' part, I take that as either the guy believes that the girl will eventually realize how much their relationship meant to him and she'll come back to him, or that she'll find her way without him and never return (sadly, probably the second one). I think most of us can relate to this one, if you were ever in a relationship that ended badly but you still really care about the other person while they seem to be going through life just fine without you. Stay strong. |
