Also, "I'm the snow on your lips The freezing taste, the silvery sip I'm the breath on your hair" < That can be taken in a purely lustful way. Referring to him as "prey" also is quite lustful. "Barely cold in her grave Barely warm in my bed" She had died that day, and he's not been in bed long, "settle for a draw tonight" They're even for what had happened. Now, the last verse links into the "Endless nightmare, devil's snare" with "I feel for you" As he had killed her, she will haunt him. Devil's snare is a mythological plant that wraps itself tightly around you. Never letting go. :D |

Yes, a metaphore. But strongley implied. The myth varies everytime I read it. there are many versions. one version says Selene rode her Golden Charriot acros the sky, she came down to kiss Endymion while he slept. She left and Endymion only saw her Charriot riding away from her in the sky. He longed to see her more, as her fell madly in love with her. (See the chorus, I Can't be bother quoting all of it) now, Selene was immortal, and wanted Endymion to be also, so Endymion was put into eternal sleep. In many versions of the myth, Endymion slept forever in a cave. "Hidden from daylight, sealed in my cave" So, going on this version of the myth, it's very strongly implied. Though, Tony may be comparing a relationship to that of Selene and Endymion's. Never broken, not by time nor distance. |

This song is about a pen; yet I interpret it as a love ballad. The person in the song is writing a letter to the person he loves, confessing to them, and of course he's talking to his pen. -for it is his pen going to give out his true feelings. "You cast a perfect shadow on the paper, fade away with sunlight, I fear the way you know me, love can leave a stain..." He knows if he tells her, it could cause her pain, for he believes she would not be capable of loving him, but he knows he could protect her, "Don´t be scared, you´ll be safe,this I swear." He tries to write this in his letter. He also mentions in his letter, that he's cried over her before, many times, "Make me cry for your love, like you´ve done many times" Yet, something terrible happens, i.e his love dies, or he realizes he will never be worthy of her; she loves another. He never got his true feeling down on paper, he could never express them correctly, "Where´s the letter never written." So, he leaves his pen, and despite his feelings, he never attempts to write the letter again, "I leave you gently on the floor," And finally says "Goodbye now" Giving up on his unrequited love. |

This song should eb obvious, but I'll clear a few things up :) Girl runs away with her "Love" at a very young age. Gets Pregnant. Boy leaves her. She returns home to mother. Mother isn't happy, "Despite all the papers been signed mama take me back be so kind" This could mean, that despite the birth papers have been signed, she wants to be taken back. "He promised the moon but won't marry you" Promising the moon just means promising everything. But he didn't kepp these promises, as he won;t marry her. All he wanted was to woo her for sex. "Life isn't gray" Could either mean that life isn't all sad. OR It could mean that life is Black or white, meaning good or bad, With no inbetween part. I'll let you decide. |

To me, this song is like, about a spoiled person. Spoiled all there life. Got everything they want. And they look down upon somebody. And treat them like crap. And that person's mind was messed up. And they don't want it to be. So they wish death and sin upon them. Or it could be a song that relates to slavery? |

This is an amazing dong. I take it as a girl, who has problems at home and with her friends. I wold put er in her mid teens. She wants to run away, leave everybody behind. Start a new life. But she isn't legally old enough, and/or doesn't have the courage. So she punishes herself, by delf harming. But she finially manages to leave eveybody behind. And start a new life. That's my interpretation anyways. For pesonal reasons. Funny thing is, I'm close to this song, and my name is Victoria :) |
