Thanks Brettjrob for posting the studio lyrics. I saw all the other posts, and thought man that isn't right. I guess those are just very early cuts?
Good stuff, this song is fantastic. |

I was reading for fun, and this song definitely seems to be about the Cold War. Pet Sounds being a reference to the Beach Boy's album releases in 1966. There is a black and white TV indicating the times once again, and the question of it being mono or stereo is a final indicator of the times.
I definitely feel like that is a great start on what this song could POTENTIALLY mean. Only Cedric really knows. |

I've never had this problem before, but I cannot hear this part at all.
Our house is a house that moves just like the Ocean
Just like the Ocean
What time in the song does it start? It has to be within the first minute or so. |

It's so catchy and fun! I think that Pioneer is on to something. The character The dear hunter is obsessed with Ms. Leading, but maybe she can't give up her lifestyle for him? |

I don't have much to contribute as far as analysis yet, but I can't believe no one else has posted anything. This is one of my favorite tracks on The Lake South the River North! |
