Morning Glory – Extraordinary Lyrics | 16 years ago |
good point madmartigen, but i think its mostly about america's foreign policy. how they dont give a shit what the UN, NATO, the EU, or any other international organization says. what are you gonna do? when the world decides that it ain't gonna take anymore shit from you so he's singing about when america goes too far and the international community gets fed up. i wish something like this would take place in america, before it has to come to something like this |
Morning Glory – Gang Control Lyrics | 16 years ago |
for anyone who's interested, the only place ive been able to find any morning glory songs is on LIMEWIRE. and ive searched quite a bit. im under the impression that morning glory did this song, and then leftover crack remade it....? anyone know anything definitive? |
Morning Glory – So Ya Wanna Be A Cop? Lyrics | 16 years ago |
umm. why is everyone talking about daddyslittledefect? fuck that guy. lol as for the song and the band.... morning glory is so much better than leftover crack as far as originality and innovation goes imo. plus the song is more than just hating cops. Cops stand for a lot of things in todays society: social control, fear, the system, etc. and it would be wrong for these bands NOT to rock against them. it wouldnt be punk not to. |
Morning Glory – The Whole World is Watching Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i cant believe only one guy has commented on this song. this is one of my favorite songs of all time. i just wish there were more morning glory songs like it. ;[ as for the meaning, its pretty self explanatory. basically "the cause" is getting a little old now, and he's kinda fed up that nothing anyone does seems to have any real effect on the world. It just seems like everyone's watching the events of the world, and then going about their business. "are we doomed to stumble on and to repeat? so it seems" that about sums it up. |
Leftover Crack – World War 4 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Albert Einstein I think that about says it. They based the song off the Einstein quote. I dont see whats weird.... |
Blink-182 – Dumpweed Lyrics | 16 years ago |
hehehe you guys are funny arguing and bashing bands. Live and let live. If you like Blink, listen to them. I personally wouldnt consider them punk, because they sing songs about girls and sound poppy, but i still like them. As for the song - about getting to involved with a girl before you really get to know her well enough, and then youre in too deep and its hard to leave her, but you have to. As for the dog part, just a little comedic relief as in most other songs on this album. |
Blink-182 – Dysentery Gary Lyrics | 16 years ago |
So all you little ladies Be sure to choose the right guys Youll come back to me maybe Ill shower you with lies best part of the song in my opinion. I think it means that if she does come back to him, he'll tell her what she wants to hear about being with the asshole guy. He's not gonna guilt her about going with him, and he'd be satisfied with having her at last. |
Choking Victim – Infested Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is pretty straight forward if you just look at the lyrics. The homeless, poor, and those at the bottom of society are the main people treated for lice and other parasitic bugs. Being easily susceptible to lice and not having the money to get rid of em, they have to go to these free clinics that give them lindane. They have no choice but to use it because theyre so infested with lice that theyre miserable. So they use it, but because of their conditions, living in the streets and all, theyre still susceptible to it and will probably get lice again, and then theyll have to use lindane. It causes cancer. Thats the conspiracy in the title. give poor, underpriviledged people cancer. |
