| I find the lyrics funny because Marilyn Manson isn’t a satanist. He’s not an atheist either. People have given the man a terrible rap because of the BS in the media. I think once people would get passed a lot of the shock value of him, they’d see him as a normal, down to earth guy who will talk to anyone about anything. So a lot of you think she is in the illuminati. I think so as well. I think they have gotten her, as with every other celebrity out there making it in Hollywood or in music. They control everyone; not just celebrities. Celebrities only have the means to do their bidding, and sadly, they get in the system and it is too late. Katy has mentioned before that she doesn't want to be Katy Perry anymore, crying. I think that when she first started out, even with her first album, she thought it was all fun and games, until MKUltra started and on her second album, I think it's called Dark Horse, is when everything is prevalent to the underground and the illuminati. See, stars don't go into the business thinking Oh yes, gee, I want to be a victim of MKUltra, but sadly they get in the industry and they cannot get out for a fear of being murdered or their family's safety. They are literally trapped. With her first album, I think that there was a light of hope for her. She didn't seem so over the top mind controlled. For this song, I think it's just about a relationship with her man, probably Russel Brand at the time LOL. Like many others stated, she is in love with this guy who is not like the social norm of everyone else. Also, I would like to point out, that Human beings, US, we are aliens as well. Don't you know that? Why do you think we are called "illegal aliens." Say there are really alien species out there in the multi-verse(which I believe), we would be the same exact thing to them as they are to us. Alien is just a term that has been thrown around for everyone who is not from a certain realm, be it Earth or elsewhere. | I get the feeling that this was written for Tommy. This song fits their life perfectly; even the video. It’s obviously not about Nick because she was with him back then. Just listen.... She said that this was her favorite song on the album, and that it was written from a lot of memories. She even cries in the video. She also does live performances and really puts her feelings into the song. No other song I've seen her really get into it like this one. She looks like she is about to have a breakdown. There was a performance where she was ask about Tom, and immediately right after she performed this song. Not to mention that her wedding dress in the video looks a lot like the one she wore on her wedding day to Tommy. They said that they both were devastated when it ended. I feel she still loves him. Upon first hearing this song, it's really not hard to figure out what it's about. When I first heard it, I initially thought about some sort of natural disaster just by the chorus and some of the verse material. I really didn't know exactly what it was about until I saw the video because some parts in the verses where I didn't know what the lyrics were. When I saw the video, I immediately knew. I was like Woah, this song is about Hurricane Katrina; because I remember seeing the news footage back then when the hurricane happened. This is really a powerful song. The video is as well. It's my personal favorite by the band. |
